With the release of The Lego Movie, fans were left wondering what it would be like to have a film like this in their life.
What if it had been made in the year 2020?
What if they’d been there in the years since the Lego Movie came out?
The answer is that they’re going to have to wait until 2020 for the best new documentary to appear on the BBC, with a film from British comedy series The Lego Gang featuring comedian, writer and star Paul Fussell.
The documentary follows the journey of a group of teenagers who, in a way, recreate the events of the Lego film, which was released in 2016.
They’re going on a date with the lead character, who happens to be a robot.
The film also includes interviews with the main actors who played the roles of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman in the Lego films.
The film was a huge hit, selling over 5.5 million tickets to screenings across the UK, the US, Australia and New Zealand, and is currently the number one selling film of the year on Amazon, behind only the Lego Batman Movie, which also sold over 5 million tickets.
It’s a rare occasion when a new film is released that hits a number of milestones, but The Lego Gourmet is an excellent example of how a film can succeed when audiences are willing to take a chance on a project that they didn’t even know existed.
The Lego Gaster is available now on Amazon UK, and will be available on DVD and Blu-ray this autumn.
