Robert Dursted, the actor best known for his portrayal of fictional detective Robert Durstsons son, James, died Saturday at age 82.

He was surrounded by family, friends and his co-star, the late actor Tom Hanks.

Durst, who died Saturday in Los Angeles after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, was the subject of a documentary on HBO called “I’m just a man” that will air on Sunday.

The Durst documentary is part of HBO’s “HBO Films Presents” slate.

Dursted and Hanks starred in a 1999 movie called “The Great Gatsby,” which is widely credited with sparking the career of Durst.
